This summer, we introduced our first reading program: I read! You read! We all READ for Ice Cream. With free ice cream provided by our local Sonic, kids turned in their ice cream sheets after reading either 25 books or for 25 minutes. Let's just say we all read for ice cream this summer!
As well as promoting reading with getting free ice cream, we started a book exchange at our Trade Days and Farmers Market booth in 2023! Ages from tiny toddler to young adults traded in books of their own and grabbed a new book to read for the summer and beyond.
